FAQ: Questions That We Get Asked Often

Can you scrape my popcorn ceilings smooth?

If the house was built after 1978 and the popcorn has not been painted more than once or twice with latex paint, we can. Otherwise, we can skim coat plaster or hang new drywall over it.

How soon are you available to do the work?

Small jobs can usually be scheduled within a week. Larger jobs may take up to two weeks before we can fit them in.

How many coats do you apply over drywall?

We do a first coat (taping), then a second coat to cover and blend seams, followed by a final smoothing pass before sanding and painting.

Do you use Chinese drywall?

No. We only use drywall made in the USA or Canada.

Do you paint as part of your services?

Yes. We typically offer Interior Painting as part of the drywall work to complete your repair or remodel.

Do I need to move my furniture?

Our sales rep will let you know which items need to be moved from the work area when we inspect the job.

What payments do you accept?

We accept cash, check, major credit cards, Venmo, and CashApp.

When do I have to pay?
